About

It all started when…

Maxinkuckee Adventure Sailing, Inc., a youth sailing program, dates back to the Maxinkuckee Yacht Club’s Junior Sailing Program founded in 1948. The Maxinkuckee Adventure Sailing program, established in 2015, seeks to continue the tradition by building on and invigorating the prior MYC Junior Sailor Program. Maxinkuckee Adventure Sailing shares sailing with youth in the community while fostering a love and respect for water and the environment through Max Adventure Sailing Saturdays, Max Adventure Sailing Camp and Max Adventure Watersport Camp. Maxinkuckee Adventure Sailing filed for 501(c)(3) status to establish a non-profit organization for the programs it supports and was granted the status in 2019.
